Club career
Born in La Libertad . He moved to study in Santa Ana and there he joined the youth team of the local FAS club at the age of 16.
In 1972, due to a serious injury to his left foot, after six years in the Acevedo team, he had to end his playing career [1] .
International Career
Asevedo represented Salvador at the 1968 Olympics and in the qualifying tournament for the 1970 World Cup [2] , where he scored a goal in the second match against Honduras , which caused the famous football war . Was in the application of his team at the 1970 World Championships in Mexico , but did not enter the field [3] .
Died on August 30, 2017 in Akahutla , Sonsonate , El Salvador [4] .
