Biography
Club career
Born December 29, 1979 in the Australian city of Morwell ( Victoria ) and is a pupil of the local club Morwell Pegasus [1] . At the professional level, he made his debut as part of the Gippsland Falcons , for which he played from 1996 to 2001 in the Australian Major League . After the club was disbanded in 2001, he signed a contract with Northern Spirit , where he spent another three seasons. In 2004 he moved to the club of one of the lower Australian leagues, where he spent one season, after which he signed a contract with Central Coast Mariners . As part of the Mariners, Hutchinson spent about 10 years and ended his career in 2015.
Team Career
Hutchinson has Maltese roots from one of his grandmothers. In 2009, he was first called up to the Malta national team for matches with the Czech and Swedish national teams. He made his debut for the national team on June 5, having played the entire match against the Czech Republic. Total played for the national team 11 matches.
Coaching career
He began his coaching career in 2015, entering the coaching staff of Central Coast Mariners. In 2017, he became an assistant to Ezra Hendrickson at Seattle Sounders 2 . In January 2018, he headed the club, after Hendrickson left the post of head coach.
