Biography
Born on January 20, 1970 in Crailsheim ( Baden-Württemberg , Germany). The only son of Kraft, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1935-2004), and his first wife, Princess Charlotte von Croy (born 1938).
Grandson of Princess Margaret of Greece and Denmark , grand-nephew of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh . Princess Anne of Great Britain , is one of Philip's godfathers [1] .
Philip Hohenlohe-Langenburgsky studied banking and economics. On March 16, 2004, after the death of his father, Philip became the head of the house of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and the 10th titular prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. He inherited the castles of Langenburg and Weikersheim , as well as about 2,700 hectares of forest.
Marriage and children
33-year-old Philip zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg married Saskia Binder (born January 15, 1973 , Munich ), daughter of the former director of the Deutsche Bank branch in Munich, Hans Peter Binder. A civil wedding ceremony was held on September 6, 2003 in Langenburg , and a church ceremony was held on September 13, 2003 in Diesen am Ammersee . Spouses have two sons and a daughter:
