Oybek Karimsher ugli Mamazulunov (born December 25, 1989 , Andijan ) is an Uzbek boxer , a representative of the medium and light heavy weight categories. He played for the Uzbekistan boxing team in the period 2010-2016, bronze medalist of the World Cup, winner of the Asian Games bronze medal, champion of Asia, winner and winner of many tournaments of international importance.

Biography

Oybek Mamazulunov was born on December 25, 1989 in the city of Andijan of the Uzbek SSR .

He made his first appearance in the 2010 season by winning the middle boxing championship in the Uzbekistan boxing championship.

In 2011, he joined the Uzbek national team and won the Duishenkul Shopokov Memorial in Bishkek.

In 2012, he rose to light heavyweight, was again the best at the Shopokov Memorial, became the bronze medalist of the Sydney Jackson Memorial in Tashkent, losing to the Russian Egor Mekhontsev at the semi-final stage.

One of the most successful seasons in his sports career was the 2013 season, when he won a gold medal at the Asian Championships in Amman and won bronze at the World Championships in Alma-Ata , where he was defeated by Kazakh Adilbek Niyazymbetov in the semifinals.

In 2014, he added to the track record the bronze award won at the light heavyweight at the Asian Games in Incheon . He played at the President’s Cup in Alma-Ata, where he was defeated in the quarterfinal by the representative of Kazakhstan Daniyar Eleusinov .

At the championship of Uzbekistan in 2015 in Samarkand he became a bronze medalist in the category up to 81 kg.

In 2016, he won a silver medal at the international tournament in Atyrau [1] .
