Geography
It is located 205 km southeast of Barnaul along the Kamenka River. The nearest railway station Biysk is 47 km away.
History
The village was founded in 1856. In 1960, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, the village of Gryaznukha was renamed Sovetskoye [2] .
