On December 13, 1945, he was sentenced to death for participating in three executions in which he, as a camp doctor, was to issue a death certificate for a prisoner. The sentence was later changed to life imprisonment. On April 11, 1947, he again turned out to be accused and at the Buchenwald trial was again sentenced to death [3] , but later the sentence was commuted to 10 years in prison.
