Content

Story

The series tells about the adventures of the FBI agent Will Chase (codename: Whiskey Cavalier), who, after an emotional breakdown, is assigned to work as a CIA operative Francesca Franky Trowbridge (codename: Fieri Tribune). Together they lead an inter-agency team of spies who periodically save the world (and each other), while seeking a balance between romance and friendship and dealing with the complex relationships of their organizations.

Production

Development

On October 24, 2017, it was announced that the ABC pilot episode of the series after several television networks showed interest in the project. The script for the pilot episode was written by Dave Hemingson, who is also the executive producer with Bill Lawrence and Jeff Ingold. Scott Foley was appointed producer of the series. Doozer and Warner Bros. Television produced a pilot release ^[2] . On February 16, 2018, it was announced that Peter Atencio would be the director of the pilot and would become executive producer ^[3] . On May 11, 2018, it was announced that ABC gave the project “green light” ^[4] ^[5] . A few days later it became known that the series will be released in the spring of 2019 as a replacement in the offseason ^[6] . On the same day the first trailer of the series was released ^[7] .

Casting

Along with the announcement of the order for the pilot episode, it became known that Scott Foley will play the main role and act as a producer ^[2] . In February 2018, Lauren Cohen , Ana Ortiz and Tyler James Williams joined the main cast ^[8] ^[9] ^[10] . On August 23, 2018, Josh Hopkins got the main role in the series after the guest role in the pilot episode ^[11] . On September 20, 2018, it became known that Bellamy Young will play a guest role ^[12] .
