Biography
Born July 6, 1659 in Langenburg [1] . The eldest son of Count Friedrich Heinrich Hohenlohe-Langenburg (1625-1699) and his second wife, Countess Juliana Dorothea of Castel-Remlingen (1640-1706).
June 2, 1699 after the death of his father Friedrich Heinrich Albrecht Wolfgang became the head of the house Hohenlohe-Langenburg and introduced the birthright in the county (the principle of inheritance of the title from father to eldest son). This meant that the eldest son was supposed to inherit the title of count, and the younger sons could inherit in the event of the death of the elder brother childless. Since then, the younger sons, mostly chose a military career, for example, in the imperial army or other friendly states.
On April 17, 1715, the 55-year-old Count Albrecht Wolfgant died in Langenburg [1] . He was also buried there [1] .

On August 22 1686 the year in Langenburge Albrecht Wolfgang married Countess Sophia Amalia (September 19, 1666 - October 29, 1736) [1] , the eldest daughter of Count Gustaf Adolf of Nassau-Saarbrücken (1632-1677) and Eleanor Clara Hohenlohe-Neuenstein (1632-1709) . They had the following children:
