Biography
In 1977 he graduated from high school and from 1978 to 1980 he served in the Soviet army.
In 1980 he entered the Moscow Theological Seminary , and after graduation, in 1983 he entered the correspondence sector of the Moscow Theological Academy , which he graduated in 1992, writing a Ph.D. thesis on the history of the Russian Church: “Description of the dissertation fund of the Kiev Theological Academy based on manuscript materials, stored in the Central Scientific Library. In 1983 he was tonsured a monk and on the Ascension of the Lord in 1983, Bishop Mukachevsky and Uzhgorod Savva (Babinets) was ordained hierodeacon in the Ascension Monastery in the village of Chumalyovo in Transcarpathia.

From May 2000 to December 2002 he served in the Belarusian Orthodox Church, in the city of Mozyr, Gomel Region.
Since January 2003, he was a consultant in the construction of the church of the Holy Martyrs Vera, Nadezhda, Lyubov and their mother Sophia in the city of Poltava, while being outside the state.
In March 2004 he was appointed to the position of the UAOC Administrator.
December 13, 2004, on the day of St. Apostle Andrew the First-Called, during the Divine Liturgy in St. Andrew’s Cathedral in Kiev, he was ordained bishop to the Poltava pulpit.
At the beginning of 2005, he filed a petition to the Patriarch of Kiev and All Russia-Ukraine Filaret (Denisenko) with a request for admission to the Kiev Patriarchate.
On June 21, 2005 he was appointed bishop of Vyshgorod, temporarily managing the Kharkov diocese.
On August 25, 2005, he was appointed bishop of Kharkov and Bogodukhovsky , managing the Kharkov diocese.
On July 27, 2013 he was appointed Bishop of Vasilkovsky, Vicar of the Kiev Diocese .
