Geography
The settlement is located in the central part of the Altai Territory, in the forest-steppe zone, within the northeastern part of the Priobsky Plateau , at a distance of about 30 kilometers (straight) to the north of the village Kalmanka , the administrative center of the district. The absolute height is 208 meters above sea level [2] .
The climate is temperate, sharply continental . The average January temperature is −17.7 ° C, July - +19.6 ° C. The annual precipitation is 350–400 mm [3] .
