The brand Mujirushi Ryohin (Muji) was registered in May 1979 [1] by the Japanese retail trading company Seiyu . Initially, under this brand, 9 household goods and 31 food products were sold. In 2018, the company opened branded hotels in Shenzhen and Beijing , in 2019 it is planned to open a hotel that will be combined with a store in the Tokyo Ginza quarter [4] .
