Location
The village is located on the shore of Lake Orekhovsky .
History
The first mention of Orekhovna is found in the Scribal Book of Bezhetskaya Pyatina of 1564 , and in a similar document of 1581 it is already mentioned about the Mikhailovsky Pogost in Orekhovna [2] .
In the spring of 1918, Soviet power was established in the Orekhov volost, and in the same year the Orekhov volost collective of RCP (b) sympathizers was formed [3] .
From January 1, 1927 to September 20, 1931, the Orekhovsky District existed within the Borovichsky District of the Leningrad Region, with its center in the Klimkovo estate [4] .
Population
- 1782 - Orekhovskoye village - 20 yards, 103 inhabitants (59 men, 44 women)
- 1880 - the village of Orekhovno (Zabolot'e) - 33 yards, 59 residential buildings, 142 inhabitants (69 men, 73 women)
- 1911 - Orehovno village - 40 yards, 50 residential buildings, 238 inhabitants (108 men, 130 women) [5]

Attractions
- The building of the church built by A. M. Litinova ( 1807 ) - now it houses the House of Culture.
- The school building, built by I.P. Daragan ( 1903 - 1904 ).
- The building of IP Dragan (the end of the 9th century) is now a district hospital and a pharmacy.
