Biography
Choodu Nachyn Alexandrovich was born on December 27, 1978 in the village. Balgazin of the Tandynsky district of the Tuva Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic [1] . After graduating from Balgazynsky secondary school, he entered the Kyzyl College of Arts named after A. B. Chyrgal-oola to the department of Tuvan national instruments in the class of byzaancha. The first ensemble performance skills and a keen interest in khoomei were part of the student national orchestra and also the Changy-Haya folklore ensemble of the national department under the direction of T. T. Baldan. With classmates they created a group of "Olchey" [1] . After graduating from college, Nachyn was admitted to the Tuva folklore and ethnographic ensemble. He performed in different parts of the Republic of Tyva, in the regions of Russia, foreign countries: Japan , Taiwan and others. He is a multi-instrumentalist playing all Tuvan musical instruments, the song arranger played in the groups "Olchey", "Alash". As part of Alash, he performed in the United States [1] . Until 2013, he worked in the team of the Tuva National Orchestra. Since 2013, he became the artistic director of the Tuva ensemble. Under his leadership, in 2014, the disc of the Tuva ensemble was recorded in the studio of the Tuvan Culture Center.

Family
With his wife, Shonchalai Oyun-oolovnoy, a performer of throat singing, met in his student years. From their student days to this day, they have been together. Honored Artists of the Republic of Tuva bring up five children, transferring knowledge about the traditions and customs of Tuvans, teaching them a hoomei. The family created the Choodu ensemble, which took an active part in the League of Amazing People project [3] . The sons of Nachyn Chood and Shonchalai Oorzhak show great promise.
