During the last period of the convention , from November 21, 1794 to February 19, 1795 he was in charge of foreign affairs, then he was the envoy to Florence, Rome and Turin, commissioner in Corsica, member of the tribunate , then state council, Minister of the Interior under Joseph Bonaparte in Naples and in Spain.
Mio left a memoir printed in 1858 under the title "Mémoires sur le consulat, l'Empire et le roi Joseph". His brother, Jacques, who participated in the Italian campaigns of Bonaparte and in the Egyptian expedition, printed: “Mémoires pour servir a l'histoire des expédetions en Egypte et en Syrie” (1804).
