Prince Georgy Davydovich Tsulukidze ( April 23, 1860 - May 20, 1923 ) - Major General of the Russian Imperial Army , a participant in the First World War . From 1918 to 1921 he served in the army of the Georgian Democratic Republic , but after the advent of Soviet power he was arrested and then shot.

Biography
Georgy Davidovich was born on April 23, 1860 in the princely family of Tsulukidze . He received his primary education at the Elizavetgrad military gymnasium. July 19, 1876 entered the service of the Russian Imperial Army . He received his military education at the Tiflis Infantry Junker School , from which he was graduated with seniority as an ensign from September 9, 1880 and distributed to the 156th Infantry Elisavetpol Regiment . May 6, 1883 he received seniority with the rank of second lieutenant , May 6, 1887 - with the rank of lieutenant , July 1, 1893 - with the rank of headquarters captain . He graduated from the Officers Rifle School with a rating of "successful . " May 6, 1900 received seniority with the rank of captain . For 11 years and 10 months he held the position of company commander. July 30, 1905 he received seniority with the rank of lieutenant colonel , and December 6, 1910 - with the rank of colonel . In March 1914 he served in the 4th Caucasus Rifle Regiment , and on April 7, 1914 he was transferred to the service in the 77th Infantry Regiment of Tengins [1] .
He took part in the First World War . From January 9, 1915 to February 15, 1916 he was the commander of the 11th Caucasian Rifle Regiment , during the command of the regiment, on January 7, 1916 he was awarded the Order of St. George of the 4th degree. He was the commander of one of the brigades of the 5th Infantry Division , from February 15 to 18, 1916. On February 18, 1916, "for military distinctions," he was promoted to major general with seniority on September 25, 1915, and was approved as brigade commander. As of July 10, 1916 he served in the same rank and in the same position. From February 7 to August 22, 917 he was commander of the 174th Infantry Division , and from August 22, 1917 - commander of the 67th Infantry Division [1]
From 1918 to 1921 he served in the army of the Georgian Democratic Republic . After the establishment of Soviet power in Georgia, in March 1921 he was arrested and charged with participation in the underground organization "Military Center". On May 20, 1921, Georgy Tsulukidze was shot [1] .
