Kadri Kordel ( tour: Kadri Kordel ) - Turkish boxer , representative of the lightest weight categories. He played for the Turkish national boxing team in the period 2000-2011, champion of the Turkish national championship, winner and winner of many tournaments of international importance.

Biography
He started boxing in the section of Kutahya , later moved to Istanbul for permanent residence and joined the local club Fenerbahçe [1] . He was trained under the guidance of trainer Muammer Saglam [2] .
He made his international debut in the 2000 season, performing at the World Junior Championships in Budapest.
In 2002, he entered the main squad of the Turkish national team and, in the lightweight category, defeated the Ahmet Dzhemert international home tournament in Istanbul, in particular, defeated French world champion Jerome Tom in the final.
In 2004, he became the champion in Turkey flyweight, won a silver medal at the student world championship in Antalya [3] , reached the quarter-finals at the Felix Stamm Memorial in Warsaw, losing to the Italian Vincenzo Picardi . He boxed at the European Championships in Pula , losing in the quarterfinal to the Georgian Nikolos Izoria . He tried to qualify for the Athens Summer Olympics , however, at the qualifying international tournament in Gothenburg he was stopped already in the 1/8 finals.
He played in the first flyweight category at the 2005 World Championships in Mianyang - he successfully passed the first two rivals in the tournament bracket, while in the third quarterfinal fight, he was defeated by Kazakh Birzhan Zhakypov with a score of 24:48.
At the 2006 European Championship in Plovdiv, he left the fight for medals at the preliminary stage.
In 2007 he returned to flyweight and again became the champion of Turkey. He boxed at the international Golden Belt tournament in Konstanz and at the Klitschko brothers tournament in Kiev, but could not get into the number of winners in these competitions. At the same time, he added to the track record the gold award won at the Ahmet Dzhemert tournament, became the bronze medalist of the European Union Championship in Dublin. At the world championship in Chicago, already in the opening match, he was defeated by Vincenzo Picardi.
At the European Olympic qualification in Pescara, he performed unsuccessfully and did not qualify for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing . For all that, he won a bronze medal at the world championship among students in Kazan .
The last time showed any significant result at the international level in the 2011 season, when he took part in the boxing tournament of the World War Games in Rio de Janeiro [4] .
