Biography
In 1968 he entered, and in 1971 he graduated from the Cherepovets Higher Military Command School of Communications , in 1979 - the command department of the Military Academy of Communications . [1] .
He went from the commander of a platoon of radio stations, the commander of a radio company to the rank of general.
S. A. Shumlyaev served in the group of Soviet troops in Germany as the head of the center of mobile relay radio stations, the commander of the battalion of a separate training regiment of communications, the head of the field communications center, the deputy commander, and then the commander of the 118th communications brigade.
From October 1989 to 1998, until his last day, Sergey Alexandrovich headed the Kemerovo Higher Military Command School of Communications (KVVKUS).
Killed by a killer with five shots. [2]. The killer was convicted, the customer was not found.
In Kuzbass tournaments are held in memory of Major General S. Shumlyaev hand-to-hand combat.
