Alexander G. Chernitsky (born January 10, 1950, Leningrad ) - Soviet, Russian and Israeli ichthyologist , Doctor of Biological Sciences (1993). The author of more than 60 scientific works, monographs, and the popular science book “Delicious Fish of Israel”.
Biography
Born in Leningrad in the family of a doctor. From childhood, he was interested in the wildlife. In school years, twice traveled with expeditions to the White Sea . A graduate of Leningrad State University. Since 1983 he worked on the Kola Peninsula - at MMBI in Dalny Zelentsy . Since December 1994 in Israel. He lived in a kibbutz, currently lives and works in Eilat . Engaged in ichthyology and cooking. Specialist in salmon fish and aquarium keeping of coral and coral fish.
