Vostanik Marvenian ( Armenian ՈստանՈստկ Մարուխյան , March 4, 1946 , Yerevan ) - Rector of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia [1] (2006–2011, since 2015), Armenian political and public figure, professor .
- 1969 - graduated from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute. Thermal engineer. Candidate of Technical Sciences, professor. Full member of the Engineering Academy of Armenia .
- 1969 - 1975 - was an assistant at the Department of Thermal Power Plants of YPI, and in 1975 - 1987 - Senior Lecturer.
- 1983 - 1987 - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Energy, YPI, in 1987 - 1997 - Associate Professor of the Department of Thermal Power Engineering of the State Engineering University of Armenia , and from 1987 - 1990 - Dean.
- 1990–1992 - worked as head of the SEUA department, in 1992–1993 - vice-rector for educational and methodical work, in 1993–1999 - vice-chairman for educational and methodical work.
- 1999 - First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, and in 1999-2003 - Vice-Rector for educational and methodical work of the SEUA. Now, on a voluntary basis, the head of the Department of Environmental Engineering.
- 2003 - 2007 - elected to the parliament. Member of the Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs. A member of the party " ARF ".
