Content
History
In the 1871 List of Populated Places of the Russian Empire (according to 1868–1869), the settlement is mentioned as the treasury village of Sychev in the Ishim district of the Tobolsk province , at the Ishim River, located 59 versts from the district center of the city of Ishim . In the village there were 80 households and 409 people (191 men and 218 women) [2] .
In 1926, there were 143 households in the village and 714 people lived (331 men and 383 women). The first-level school functioned. Administratively, Sycheva was the center of the Sychevsky village council of the Abat district of Ishim district of the Ural region [3] .
Geography
The village is located in the south-eastern part of the Tyumen region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the Ishim plain , on the right bank of the Ishim river, at a distance of about 23 kilometers (in a straight line) to the south-west from the village of Abatskoye , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 79 meters above sea level [4] .
