Biography
Born July 4, 1923. Latvian. Member of World War II. Member of the CPSU since 1946.
Since 1946 - party organizer in the дуdulienne parish of Madona County , since 1948 - head of the department of the Latvian Republican Council of Trade Unions, since 1950 - second secretary of the Skrunda District Committee of the Communist Party of Latvia, chairman of the district executive committee, head of the department of the Liepaja District Committee of the Communist Party of Latvia, first secretary of Alsung , then Kuldiga District Committee of the Communist Party of Latvia , since 1959 - chairman of the Latvian Republican Council of Trade Unions, since 1973, Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Latvian SSR [2] .
He was a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Latvia. He was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 7th and 8th convocations, the Supreme Council of the Latvian SSR of the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th convocations .
He died in 2011 in Riga , was buried in the Forest Cemetery .
