Career

Tomas Nosek made his debut in the Czech Extra League for his native club Pardubice in the 2011/12 season. In the first season he won the gold medal of the Czech Championship. Thanks to a successful game for Pardubice, in 2013 Nosek was invited to the Czech team for the first time, for which he spent 11 matches and scored 3 goals.

In the summer of 2014, he decided to cross the ocean by signing a contract with the NHL Detroit Red Wings . Over the three seasons at Detroit, he spent only 17 games in the main team, in which he scored just one goal. Basically, Nosek played in the AHL for the Grand Rapids Griffins , in which he won the 2017 Calder Cup . After winning the Calder Cup in the NHL expansion draft, he was chosen by the new Vegas Golden Knights club.

In the first season, as part of the Golden Knights, Nosek made it to the Stanley Cup final. In the first game of the final series, he was recognized as the best player, scored two goals in the score 4: 4, setting the final result 6: 4 in favor of Vegas [1] . But in the end, this victory was the only one for Vegas, they lost to Washington with a score of 1: 4 in the series.

In the summer of 2018, he signed a new contract with Vegas for a period of one season in the amount of $ 962,500 [2] .
