Biography
Higher education. He graduated in 1996 from the Kharkov State Automobile and Road Technical University with a degree in civil engineering and civil engineering for the construction of roads and airfields.
From 1996 to October 2004, he worked as an engineer, deputy head of department, and head of the technical supervision department of the State Institution “Management of Public Highways and Transport of the Administration of the Belgorod Region”. Since October 2004, he worked as acting, then chief engineer of the regional road administration. November 19, 2007 became the head of the State Institution "Management of public roads and transport of the administration of the Belgorod region."
Since November 5, 2013, K. A. Polezhaev was appointed First Deputy Mayor of Belgorod. Since October 7, 2015 he worked as the acting head of the Administration of the city of Belgorod.
Since November 17, 2015, he was officially elected mayor of Belgorod, [1] 32 of 39 deputies voted for Polezhaev. [2]
Since January 21, 2019 he has been appointed Deputy Governor of the Belgorod Region - Head of the Housing and Public Utilities Department of the region. [3]
Rewards
In 2013, for many years of conscientious work, he was awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland Medal of the II degree.
In 2010, K. A. Polezhaev was awarded the title “ Honorary Builder of Russia ”; He was also awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
