Sop Lake is a city in Grant County, Washington , on Lake Sop. According to the 2010 census, the population is 1,514 inhabitants. Sop Lake was officially registered as a city on June 9, 1919.

From the beginning of the 20th century until the mid-1940s, there were several sanatoriums located on Lake Sop. Currently, the city is trying to attract tourists, trying to restore the health aspect of the lake. It is believed that the minerals in the lake have healing properties for the treatment of Buerger's disease ( thromboangiitis obliterans ).
