Castro, Maria Antonia

Maria Antonia Castro ( sp. María Antonia Castro ; June 10, 1881 , Andalusia , Spain - January 16, 1996 , Andalusia , Spain ) - Spanish super long-hostess. She lived for 114 years and 220 days and was considered the oldest fully verified person in the history of Spain for 20 years (from 1996 to 2016 ), until this title passed to Anna Maria Rubio (who lived 116 years and 47 days). At the time of her death, Maria Castro was the fifth oldest living person in the world. As of October 2018, it is the second oldest fully verified Spaniard in history and is on the list of the 100 oldest people in history.
