- 1974 - graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Specialty - Automation and Electronics. Qualification - Physical Engineer.
- 1980 - candidate of physical and mathematical sciences (specialty - “Radiophysics, including quantum radiophysics”). The theme of the dissertation is “Study of orientational electro-optical effects in liquid crystals”.
- 1996 - Doctor of Technical Sciences (specialty - “Optical and optoelectronic devices and complexes”). The topic of the dissertation is "Liquid crystals in optical systems for converting and displaying information."
- 2008 - 2016 - Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), professor at the Department of Cybernetics and Mechatronics.
- 2009 - present - Moscow State Regional University (MGOU), chief researcher at the Department for the Development of Science, head of the Department of Theoretical Physics.
- 2007-2009 - Russian Research Center "Kurchatov Institute", head of the Agency for Biomedical Technologies and Nuclear Medicine.
