Three rubles - twenty zlotys of 1834 (Bitkin # 1075 / R)

During the reign of Nicholas I, three rubles were minted from 917 gold, their diameter is 22.8, mm , and its weight is 3.92 g , and 3.60 g of pure gold. 77 106 copies were issued in the Warsaw Mint . The edge is ribbed [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] .

The obverse of three rubles depicts the right profile portrait of Nicholas I in a laurel wreath. Circular inscription: “ALEXADER I. CES ∙ ROS ∙ WSKRZESICIEL ∙ KROL ∙ POLS · 1815 *”. On the reverse in the center there is an inscription in three lines, which is surrounded by two oak branches: "25 ZŁO ∙ POL ∙ 1829". Under the branches are the initials of the minzmeister: "F - H" - Fryderyk Hunger. Circular inscription: “MIKOŁAY I. CES ∙ WSZ ROSSYI KROL POLSKI PANUIACY *” [1] [2] [3] [6] [7] .

The three rubles of Nicholas I were minted from 1828 to 1829 and from 1832 to 1841, which have no varieties [5] .

Three rubles of 1869 (Bitkin # 31 / R)

During the reign of Alexander II, three rubles were minted from 917 gold, their diameter was 22.7 mm, and the weight was 3.93 g, and 3.6 g pure gold. 143,003 copies were issued in the St. Petersburg Mint . The edge is dotted [8] [9] [10] [11] .

On the obverse of three rubles of 1869, the coat of arms of the Russian Empire of the end of the XIX century is depicted - a double-headed eagle with outspread wings under three crowns, the flowing St. Andrew's ribbon comes down from the upper crown. On the eagle's chest is a shield with the emblem of Moscow , which is surrounded by the chain of the Order of St. Apostle Andrew the First Called . On the wings of the eagle are shields with the emblems of the kingdoms: Kazan , Polish , Tauric Chersonesos , the combined coat of arms of the Grand Duchy of Kiev , Vladimir and Novgorod, the kingdoms of Astrakhan , Siberia , Georgian and the Principality of Finland . In his right paw, he squeezes the scepter , in his left holds the power . Under the eagle are indicated the initials of the minzmeister: “H - I” - N. Jossa. On the reverse, inside the dotted rim, the denomination symbol "* 3 * RUBLE" is shown. The figure shows the date “1869” and the mint “S. P. b.
