Club career
Marcelo Ortiz began his football career at Boca Unidos , playing for him in Example B Nacional. In 2012–2013, he was on a loan in favor of “ Communicions ” from Mercedes. In early August 2017, Ortiz was loaned to the Rosario Central team.
On August 26, 2017, the defender made his debut in the Argentine Example , coming on as a substitute in the middle of the second half of the away match against Colon [1] .
