Biography

At the amateur level, he played for the Marist St. Joseph (Samoa) and Taradale (New Zealand) teams; he represented Hawks Bay in the provincial championship of New Zealand. For the national team, Samoa held the first match on October 14, 1989 in Bucharest against Romania , the last game on July 5, 1997 in Apia against Fiji . In 28 games scored 16 points. The key moment in his career was the victory of the 1991 World Cup against Wales in the group stage, when it was his second attempt in the match that cemented the success of the Samoa national team and helped them win a sensational victory over the Welsh with a score of 16:13 [2] , which largely ensured they exit from the group [3] [4] [5] .

As part of the Samoan team, he also played at the 1995 World Cup [6] , was involved in the games of the Samoa rugby-7 team at the world championships in 1993 and 1997.
