Geography

The village is located in the east of the Chelyabinsk region, in the forest-steppe zone , on the shores of Lake Bezymyannoe (Sokolovo), at a distance of about 10 kilometers (in a straight line) to the southeast from the village of Etkul , the administrative center of the region. The absolute height is 211 meters above sea level ^[2] .
