Volovets is an intermediate railway station of the Lviv Railway , located in the central part of the regional center of Volovets, Transcarpathian region of Ukraine .

It is located on the Stryi - Batevo line, between the Skotnik (7 km) and Volchiy (18 km) stations.
History
The station was opened in March 1886 as part of the Mukachevo - Volovets railway. After the construction of the Beskydy tunnel, the railway continued to Lavochnoe station and in 1887 it was finally connected with the Stryi-Lavochnoe railway.
The station was electrified in 1956 as part of the Lavochnoe - Mukachevo railway, the first on the Lviv railway.
Suburban and regional electric trains, as well as long-distance trains, stop at the station.
On December 11, 2016, an interval every other day launched the Kharkov - Uzhgorod night express train (via Poltava, Mirgorod, Lviv), which travels over the whole country in one night.
