Biography
He studied at secondary school number 3 of the city of Nezhin.
After graduating from school in 1967 he entered the Faculty of Physical Education of the Chernigov State Pedagogical Institute named after T. G. Shevchenko. In 1981, under the scientific supervision of Yuri Nikolaevich Tepper, he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic "Research on ways to improve the performance of committees on physical education and sports in small and medium-sized cities." In May 1992, at the State Central Order of Lenin, the Institute of Physical Culture successfully defended a dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences on the topic “Pedagogical Foundations of Students' Physical Education (Game Design and Expertise Experience)” (scientific adviser Sergey Dmitrievich Neverkovich), in 1994 . receives the academic title of professor.
Scientific activity
Over more than 50 years of activity, several hundred scientific articles have been published; he is the author of more than 20 books of a scientific and methodological nature.
All the scientific work of Prikhodko V.V. is subject to the general logic of the realization of the potential of pedagogical anthropology. Pedagogical anthropology, as the author understands its capabilities, should become an effective means of promoting the formation of a self-determined and active person, who is capable and obliged to take responsibility for the moral choice of a life path, for her formation as a specialist and professional. In one of the author’s works, the corresponding position of a scientist and methodologist was formulated (Prikhodko V., Bocelliuk V., Shevyakov O., Maliy V. Pedagogical anthropology and school, nav. Pos. St. Dnipropetrovsk, 2008).
The approach advocated by Prikhodko V.V. prompted him to formulate the scope and content of the concept of “macro pedagogy” 1-7 [0] , propose a series of “macro pedagogical tools”, and form new concepts of “creative valueology” 8-9 “sound construction” 12-13 1] , "unprofessional physical education" 14-15 .
Among the most important works of Prikhodko V.V. should be attributed to the work devoted to the modernization of modern Ukrainian higher education (Prikhodko V.V. Strategy for reforming the national food school: monograph. Dnepropetrovsk, 2014). At the time of publication, there was no other fundamental work, the author of which would take the responsibility to make a claim to a vision of a future higher school that breaks with the Soviet past.
In addition, Prikhodko V.V. is the author of the concept and pedagogical technology of nonprofessional physical education as a new component of the practice of physical education. An NFO promotes the formation of an active person who is ready to effectively take care of his own health and working capacity. Unprofessional physical education is a core idea for the “framework” concept of creative valeology prepared by him, aimed at becoming an active health planner (Prikhodko V., Kuzminsky V. Creative valeology: phys. Posib. Dnipropetrovsk, 2004).
The provisions of creative valeology were used in writing one of the most notable works devoted to the qualitative updating of the physical education of students (Prikhodko V.V., Salov V.O., Chernigivska S.A., Vilyanskiy V.M. Reform of the physical and technical bachelor's program Schools (competence pidkhid): monograph. Dnepropetrovsk, 2016).
Important should be considered [ why? ] also the contribution of the scientist to the preparation of the reform of Olympic sports in the conditions of present-day Ukraine (Prikhodko V.V. The concept of managing the current system of training athletes: monograph. 2018). This sphere, at the time of the publication of the monograph, did not recover from the Soviet past and exploited what was left of the administrative-command model of management, unsuitable in the transition to a truly market model.
