Land fund

Land fund - the total area of land within the boundaries of individual land users or administrative-territorial units .

The world land fund (also the land fund of the planet) usually includes the entire land surface, except for Antarctica [1] (sometimes also Greenland ).

At the country level, land and inland waters are included in the land fund, within the fund are allocated [2] :

  • agricultural land;
  • settlement lands;
  • lands of industry, transport, communications;
  • lands of specially protected areas;
  • forest land;
  • water fund lands;
  • reserve lands (not allocated to ownership, possession, use or lease).
