Nathan Levinson ( born Nathan Levinson , July 15, 1888 - October 18, 1952) is an American sound engineer. In 1943, he won an Oscar for the best sound for the musical film Yankee Doodle Dandy . [2] In addition, he became a nominee for the Academy Award 16 more times in the same category, as well as seven times in the nomination for the best special effects [3] . In 1941, Levinson was awarded the Special Academy Award for exemplary service and exceptional assistance to the film industry and the army over the past nine years, a man who has done a lot to produce high-quality military training films.
