Description
The island has an almost rectangular shape, stretching from north to south. In the central part there is an inflow that extends deep into the island from the east, and a small central lake. The southern part is lowland, a small inflow flows into it from the south-west.
The northern part is somewhat elevated, the western and northern shores are slightly steep, at the base of which there are narrow sandy beaches. Along the coast of the island and in its central part stretch sand ridges typical of the Dnieper floodplain in the Kiev region. The northeastern coast is lowland, excised by the dry beds of the former Dnieper watercourses.
The southwestern part of the island is most ennobled. There are three beaches, two clubs, several cafes, sports grounds, etc.
In 1966, a reinforced concrete Venetian bridge was built through the Venetian canal , which connected the Dolobetsky island with the Venetian island and directed part of the flows of tourists to the southern part of the Dolobetsky island.
