- Satybaldy Narymbetov was born on March 8, 1946 in the village of Achisay, Turkestan district, Chimkent region.
- He graduated from the screenwriting faculty of VGIK (1969); VKSR (Higher Courses of Scriptwriters and Directors at the USSR State Committee for Cinematography , workshop of People’s Artist of the USSR G. Danelia , 1984).
