Club career

Born in Vila Nova di Famalican , Braga district , and began playing football in the club of his native city - “Familican”. At the age of 13, he went to Porto , where he became a professional. In the 2007/08 season, he gained his first professional experience in the first team, however, not at Porto, but on loan at Varzin , playing in the second division. He stayed in it for one season.

In the next two years, Ukraine continued to go on a lease, now south, to Ollanensi . He scored six goals in 30 games of his club debut season , managing to help the Algarve team return to the Premier League for the first time in 34 years; in November 2009, it was reported that the player was of interest to the English team “ Newcastle United ”, playing in the “ championship ”, after the match of the Portuguese youth team against the national team of England at Wembley Stadium, in which the midfielder played a full 90 minutes [2] .
