Yarda ( FR. Yarda ) is a village and suprefecture in Chad , located in the Borku region . It is part of the department of Borku Yala .

Geographical position
The village is located in northern Chad, in the southern Sahara desert , at an altitude of 310 meters above sea level [1] . The village is located at a distance of approximately 820 kilometers northeast of the country's capital N'Djamena .
Population
According to the 2009 official census, the population of the Yards was 10,163 people (5,072 men and 5,091 women). The population of the prefecture according to the age range was as follows: 36.4% - residents under 15 years old, 56.9% - between 15 and 59 years old and 6.7% - aged 60 years and older [2] .
