Duke de Nahera - Spanish aristocratic title. It was created on August 30, 1482 by the Queen of Castile Isabella I for (1443-1515).

In 1520, the King of Spain Carlos I of Habsburg granted the Duke de Najer the title of Grand of Spain .
The name of the ducal title comes from the name of the municipality of Najera (province of Rioja, autonomous community of Rioja or La Rioja ).
From 1482 to 1600, the title of Duke de Naher was held by Pedro Manrique de Lara and Sandoval and his male descendants. But in 1600, after the death of Juan Esteban Manrique de Lara Akunya and Manuel (1533-1600), 4th Duke de Naher (1558-1600), the ducal title was inherited by his daughter, Louise Manrique de Lara and Giron (1558-1627).
