The Youth Anti-Sexual Union is one of the social organizations mentioned in the novel - George Orwell's 1984 dystopia. The members of the Youth Anti-Sexual Union preached complete chastity ( celibacy ) for both sexes [1] . Conception was permitted only by artificial insemination (iskos on the newspeak), in public places. Activists of the Youth Anti-Sexual Union were supposed to distribute literature and put up leaflets in order to promote the ideas of the union, to participate in processions with banners.

Emblem
As an identifying mark, members of the organization wore a red belt (sash) around the waist. The scarlet sash is the emblem of the Youth Anti-Sexual Union, tightly wrapped several times around the waist of the jumpsuit.
Winston knew that this demand was not put forward very seriously, but, in general, it fit into the ideology of the party. The party sought to kill the sexual instinct, and once you can not kill, then at least distort and dirty. Why this was necessary, he did not understand: but there was nothing to be surprised about either. As for women, the party has succeeded in this pretty much. [2]
Structure
The hierarchical structure of the Youth Anti-Sexual Alliance implied the presence of rank and file members and leaders of various levels. The book mentions Comrade Ogilvy , who at the age of 17 became the district head of the organization.
Interpretation
The sources of the Soviet era compared the union with the existing organizations of the USSR [1] [3] . In particular, the prototype was called Komsomol [3] .
