Biography
In 1945, he came to work at the Orsha Flax Mill. He graduated from the vocational school. After school he worked as a locksmith, then as a foreman of repairmen of spinning machines. Specialist in the field of maintenance and repair of spinning equipment Since 1960, he worked as an assistant foreman at the Orsha Flax Mill. In May 1970, received the right to release the first "linen billion" of fabric. Actively engaged in innovation. For the 9th five-year period alone, it introduced 29 rationalization proposals in its sector. The title of Hero of Socialist Labor was awarded in 1976 for success in fulfilling the plans of the 9th Five-Year Plan, for his creative contribution to increasing the production of consumer goods and improving their quality. Over the years of work at the plant, Klimov taught the profession of assistant foreman to 27 young workers. For many years he taught at the vocational school No. 45 - he helped prepare personnel for his native enterprise. Honored teacher of working youth of the BSSR (1978).

Memory
In his honor, a memorial sign was erected on the alley of Heroes of the Soviet Union and Socialist Labor in the city of Gorki, Mogilev Region.
