Biography
Ed Loeter was born on October 30, 1938 in Long Beach , New York , USA, to Edward Matthew and Sally Lee Loeter, an actress and dancer from Broadway in the 1920s. [10] He studied drama at an acting school, and in 1961 received a bachelor's degree in English literature. [11] He served in the army for two years. He began his career as a comedian, and then as an actor he made his debut first on Broadway and then on television and in movies. [12] On the big screen appeared in the films " King Kong " (1976), " Cujo " (1983), " Death Wish 3 " (1985), " Without Compromise " (1986), " Born on the Fourth of July " (1989) , " Artist " (2011) and many others.
Ed Loeter died of mesothelioma on October 16, 2013 at his home in Los Angeles . [12] [10] [13]
