Club career
Rodriguez is a graduate of the Sunderland English club. In 2014, Alex signed his first professional contract with the New Zealand Wellington Phoenix . On October 12, in his match against Perth Glory , he made his A-League debut. [2] On February 9, 2017, Rodriguez scored his first goal for Wellington Phoenix in a duel against Sydney [3] . In the summer of that year, he moved to the Portuguese Boavista [4] , but did not play for a minute.
In early 2018, Rodriguez moved to the Romanian Sepsi . On February 2, in a match against Pauli Timisoara, he made his debut in the Romanian championship [5] .
In the summer of 2018, Rodriguez signed a contract with the Scottish club “ Motherwell ” [6] . On August 11, in his match against Hamilton Academic , he made his debut in the Scottish Premier League. [7]
