Emeryville is a small town in Alamida County, California , USA . Located on the east coast of San Francisco Bay . To the south of it is Auckland , in the north is the university city of Berkeley . According to the 2010 census, the population was 10,080 people. [four]

Before the colonization of territory by Spain in 1776, this territory was the site of extensive settlements of the Oloni Indians. Emeryville's first post office opened in 1884. [5] The status of the city was received on December 2, 1896.
