The football team of the Szekey region is a football team representing the Skei region ( Romania ) in competitions among unrecognized teams that are not members of FIFA and regional confederations. The team is not a member of either FIFA or UEFA, but is a member of ConIFA . [2] . Made up of ethnic Hungarians. Bronze medalist of the 2017 World Championships ConIFA [3] .

History
The Football Association of the Székei region ( Hungarian Székelyföld Labdarúgó-egyesület ) was formed in 2013 and joined the NF-Board through the initiative of Kristoph Wenzel, sports lawyer and president of the association, as well as adviser to the Hungarian players involved in the national teams of Hungary [4] . After the dissolution of the NF-Board entered the ConIFA. Took 4th place in the 2018 FIFA World Cup ConIFA.
