History
December 12, 1988, a month after the signing of the agreement between the Yugoslav company Sintelon and the Soviet company Sinteros, the joint venture Sinteros was founded, then the joint venture Tarkett-Sintelon was founded [1] .
In November 2006, Tarkett bought 21.1% of the shares for 44.9 million euros, becoming the owner of a controlling stake of 64.3% [2] [3] . In 2007, Tarkett invested in the opening of a new plant worth 10 million euros, which eventually doubled production since 2008 [4] .
In July 2009, Tarkett bought a 34.99% stake in the company for 117 million euros [5] . By 2009, Tarkett increased its ownership share to more than 99% by purchasing the remaining shares from minority shareholders [6] .
Reporting
The company produces laminate [7] , linoleum [8] , parquet board [9] and other finishing floor coverings . In addition to flooring for domestic use, it produces flooring for special and sporting purposes.
According to the consolidated annual financial statements for the 2013 calendar year, filed with the Serbian Agency of the Economic Register, the company had 2,755 employees in the Eastern European division and an annual profit of € 64,770,000 [10] .
