Publication in the newspaper “Kurjer Poznański” of May 8, 1925 about the massacre at the Lelevel Grammar School

The massacre at the Vilna school - on May 6, 1925, the attack on the Joachim Lelevel Gymnasium in Vilna, Poland (now Vilnius , Lithuania ).

During the exams, at about 11 am, at least two students of the eighth grade attacked the board of examiners using revolvers and hand grenades, killing several students, at least one teacher, after which the students committed suicide [1] [2] . Different publications around the world made different reports, including the assumption that the students had connections with illegal Soviet units stationed in Poland for sabotage and espionage operations, as they carried military weapons with them [3] .
