Biography

Stuart Thomas Gillard was born on April 28, 1950 in the town of ( Alberta , Canada ).

He graduated from the University of Alberta , then, having passed a huge competition, he was able to enter the National Theater School of Canada . Soon, Gillard was invited to the University of Washington ( Seattle , Washington, USA), where he became one of the founders of the professional acting troupe of this university. After this success, Gillard was invited to Hollywood .

Since 1972, he began acting in films, and appeared on the screens until 1988 (in 2014 there was also a short guest appearance in the series “Beauty and the Beast”). Since 1976, known as a screenwriter, wrote scripts until 1993 (in 2001, he also wrote scripts for two episodes of the series "All Souls"). From 1982 to the present, he is known as a director and producer.

On November 3, 1990, Gillard married. As of 2018, Stuart Gillard lives in the settlement of Montecito (California) with his wife and children. His wife's name is Marilyn Majerczyk, in the late 1980s she had some fame as a producer of five films in the series [3] .
