Biography

Born in the city of Velizh, Smolensk region. She graduated from Leningrad State University (1955).

In 1955-1960 laboratory assistant, senior laboratory assistant (1956), assistant (1957) of the Leningrad Agricultural Institute.

Since 1960, she worked in the Leningrad (St. Petersburg) branch of the Research Institute of the Bakery Industry: senior researcher (1960-1964), head of the laboratory of biochemistry and microbiology (1964-1971), director (1972-1999).

Specialist in the technology of baking, pasta and confectionery products. The main studies are devoted to the study of biochemistry and microbiology of rye starter cultures.

Candidate of Biological Sciences (1960), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1983), Professor (1985), Corresponding Member of VASKHNIL (1988).

She was awarded the medal “For Valiant Labor. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin ”(1970),“ Veteran of Labor ”(1983) with the gold medal of VDNH (1982).

Author (co-author) of more than 150 scientific papers, of which about 30 books and brochures. Received 20 copyright certificates and patents for inventions.
