History
FC Tsesna Training Base
In 2000, the Tsesna football club was created in Alma-Ata , for which a training base was being created on Magnitnaya Street. In 2003, the club was renamed “Alma-Ata”, and in 2009 it is part of the Astana “Locomotive” ). [one]
In 2010, the new Tsesna club began participating in the country's first league, continuing to use UTB Tsesna as a home arena. Also, the youth team of Kairat FC conducts their games on the field of the training base as part of the Premier League clubs understudy tournament.
FC Kairat Stadium
In December 2011, an agreement was reached on the acquisition of the Tsesna football school by KazRosGas and its further merger with the Kairat team. [2] FC Tsesna becomes the Kairat Farm Club.
After the dissolution of FC Kairat Academy , the stadium field was used until June 2015 for the youth team of FC Kairat as part of the Premier League club doubles Tournament.
Reconstruction
After acquiring a controlling stake in FC Kairat, KazRosGas set a goal in 2011 to create a unified club infrastructure. It should include the training of young football players from an early age and the transition to equipping the team with pupils of a football club. For these purposes, a club infrastructure development program was developed, which included the creation of a children's and youth academy, as well as the construction of a new educational base for the main staff. [3] However, nothing was known about the fate of the stadium.
In June 2015, a large-scale reconstruction of the facility begins.
Academy
On May 10, 2017, the Kairat FC Football Academy was opened. It was named after the outstanding player of the Almaty Kairat - Eustache Pekhlevanidi . [4] The opening took place in the presence of club veterans. As part of the event, a football match was held with the stars of the Kazakh stage, in which veterans won with a score of 4-0. [five]
Infrastructure
For the sports training of the pupils, a full-fledged sports infrastructure was created: two fields with artificial turf (one indoor), a gym and gymnasiums, locker rooms and a medical unit. There is a dormitory for students living in the academy. For the needs of the club, offices for trainers and administration are located in the academy building.
Stadium
As part of the creation of the Academy, a stadium with a natural lawn and stands with a capacity of 500 people was reconstructed.
In 2001-2008, the stadium was home to the youth team of FC Alma-Ata .
In 2010-2012, FC Tsesna (Alma-Ata) performed at the stadium.
In 2010-2015 and since 2018, the stadium has become the home arena for the youth team of FC Kairat .
